Georgian PM says 2024 Starring Georgia calendar to host “important, big surprises”

Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili on Monday said Starring Georgia, a series of shows promoting the country's tourism potential and showcasing it on the map of entertainment events around the world, had been “quite successful” in its first edition this year, and pledged it would host “important, big surprises” in its 2024 programme as well. 

The Starring Georgia project turned out to be quite successful, as part of which two grand mega shows were held in Georgia. I know that many of our citizens - and not only - attended these concerts, and that they liked [the shows]”, said Garibashvili. 

Initiated by the PM, the campaign hosted shows of Bruno Mars, Imagine Dragons, The Killers and other performers in the Georgian capital city of Tbilisi and the Black Sea resort town of Shekvetili. 

Garibashvili thanked organisers of the programme for their efforts in hosting it in the country.
